ArthroLase | HAiLO

Christopher worked on the HAiLO medical device at ArthroLase as a Mechatronic Engineer. Whilst working on the device, Christopher took over several responsbilities. This included software lead of the ‘roadrunner’ project, which required design, management, and execution of laser speed optimisation experiments on Ex Vivo tissue samples.

Christopher also did design work on the control systems for the HAiLO Device, and implemented several key features in the rust code base such as water spray control, robot kinematics and safety systems.

Working in such a small and specialised team, Christopher developed skills in project management, stake holder engagement, business management, robotic systems, rust, PLC systems, product design and quality systems.
